Connecting with customers
Over the years many of the articles in Connect have made some mention of the librarians in the Business Centre, but who are we and could we really help you?
We are a team of people who are trained and skilled in finding business information. If you need help locating facts, opinions or analysis on almost any subject you can visit, call or email us for help.
The individuals who make up the team have a range of skills and experience. We are a diverse group with people from Africa and Europe joining with native Cantabrians and New Zealanders to provide a truly international body of knowledge. Our two most recent additions are Sheasby Saruwaka and Andrew Reynolds. Sheasby came to New Zealand from Zimbabwe three years ago and has a background in business with specific experience in marketing and every aspect of the ISO 9002 accreditation procedures. Andrew is from Christchurch and in addition to great library experience has all the local and technical knowledge that can be so important for you, our customers.
The nature of the business world is that there is always a challenge on the way. There are many organisations in Christchurch and Canterbury who exist specifically to support businesses. Our role as one of those support mechanisms is to help you find the information you need when you need it, so when you need help, find us in the Business Centre, 2nd Floor, Central Library, telephone us on (03) 941 7923, or email us at library@ccc.govt.nz.
