Plan your trip with our help
The Big OE is a Kiwi institution. Spending time travelling and seeing the world is something that most New Zealanders do at some point in their lives. Whether its a trip to Australia, Antarctica, Andorra, Austria or the Americas, research and planning your journey using our resources will help you get the most out of your hard-earned money.
Many people who have travelled will tell you that learning some key phrases in the language of the country that you are travelling to can go a long way to helping experience the country in a much more rewarding way. Our community information directory CINCH lists language courses to help you get a grip on pronunciation and vocabulary. The library also has a wide range of language learning resources.
Food is another great joy of travelling, and the people and places in the photos you take will create a lifetime of memories.
