Holiday Programmes

We run programmes and competitions for kids over the school holidays.

Learning Centres

Our Learning Centres run programmes for kids after school as well as during the holidays. July 2008 holiday programmes are now open for bookings.

KidsFest

TV2 KidsFest is New Zealand's biggest annual children's festival. Aimed at kids up to the age of 12, there's nothing quite like it anywhere else in the country. 2008 dates are Saturday 5 July to Friday 18 July. See Library KidsFest events.

International Children's Book Day 2 April 2008

Each year a member country of IBBY (International Board on Books for Young People) sponsors an annual celebration of children's books on 2 April, which is Hans Christian Andersen's birthday. This year the focus is on Thailand, and the theme is Books Enlighten: Knowledge Delights, message and poster by Chakrabhand Posayakrit.
