This year we are entering the inaugural Māori Language Week Awards 2004

Give it a go, Kōrero Māori is this year's theme for the competition.

The Māori Language Week Awards 2004 are being organised by Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori, Te Puni Kōkiri and the Human Rights Commission. The Awards will celebrate and recognise the efforts being made by so many organisations to promote the Māori Language.

This is our chance to showcase the commitment and effort that Christchurch City Libraries has made over the last 8 years to support Māori language and Māori Language Week.

Winners will be announced at a Gala Dinner in Wellington on 14 September.

Community Award
Media Awards (x3)
Business Award
Central and Local Government Body Awards (x2)
