The Duncan Lawrie Dagger

This award for the year's best crime novel written in English is named for its sponsor, Duncan Lawrie Private Bank. It was introduced in 2006 and replaces the gold and silver daggers. The prize consists of an ornamental dagger and £20,000 (about $37,000/€29,000).
