Aramoana - Out of the Blue
Out of the Blue is a film directed by Robert Sarkies and written by Sarkies and Graeme Tetley. The world premiere of the movie was at the Toronto International Film Festival on 11 September 2006. It premiered in New Zealand at the Rialto Theatre in Dunedin on 11 October.
The movie is based on the Aramoana Massacre that occurred on 13 November and 14 November 1990. Aramoana resident David Gray shot 13 people, before he was shot by police.
