Libraries 2025 Facilities Plan

New libraries at Aranui and Belfast, a replacement library at Halswell and a review of development options for a new Central Library are proposed under the Draft Libraries 2025 Facilities Plan.

The plan is designed to guide the future development of Christchurch City Libraries' buildings through to 2025.

Public Consultation

Public comment was sought on the Draft Plan until Sunday 8 June 2008.
